Our chitosan is sustainably sourced and exclusively from the shell of wild shrimp (Pandalus borealis) from the North Atlantic and produced in Norway. The wild-caught shrimp are certified sustainable by the MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) and regulated by the Norwegian authorities.

The shrimp arrive at the factory within hours of being caught to ensure the highest level of freshness and quality.

Our chitosan powder is intended for use in cosmetic products including face masks, hair styling products, deodorants, and shampoos.

This versatile biopolymer protects and cares for the skin, styles and protects hair, and is gentle on the environment.
