Sustainability

At ArcticSource1 we believe sustainability is the only path into the future. Our commitment to sustainability includes environmentally responsible business practices throughout our supply chain. All of our products are sourced from fisheries certified by at least one of the following: Marine Stewardship Council, Friend of the Sea, or MarinTrust (formerly IFFO RS).

Our products are produced in manufacturing facilities that use renewable energy. We believe environmental laws often represent a minimum, and actively source suppliers that exceed local regulations and who have additional programs in place to reduce their carbon footprint.

ArcticSource1 directly and indirectly supports efforts to reduce and remove waste from our environment. We use recyclable and reusable materials and we encourage our manufacturers and customers to maintain recycling programs and environmentally responsible waste disposal practices.

We believe in giving back to the oceans that sustain us. ArcticSource1 donates a portion of all profits to The Ocean Cleanup, which is a non-profit organization committed to removing plastic and other garbage from our ocean’s surface and stopping the inflow of new plastics from the most polluting rivers around the world.

We build long-term relationships with our suppliers and customers that are based on transparency and ethical business practices. Our membership (and those of our suppliers) to the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange (SEDEX) is part of our commitment to upholding the highest health, safety and labor standards as well as environmental and business ethics.
