Arcticsource1 AS signs international agreement

ArcticSource1 AS, a specialty distributor for marine ingredients and finished goods based in Tønsberg, Norway, has entered into a long term agreement with Fam-Trade Company for distribution and sale of Isblå branded products in Asia.

“Fam-Trade came to us for the quality and success in the Norwegian practitioner market of the Isblå brand,” says Jan Haakonsen, Sales and Marketing Director of ArcticSource1. “We are impressed with Teeyarat and the team of professionals she has assembled to launch the Isblå brand in Thailand and beyond,” he adds.

“We were looking for the best quality concept in the Norwegian market,” says Fam-Trade Managing Director Teeyarat Kongmanee. She continues, “It was important for us to find a Norwegian producer who can ensure we get simply the best Omega-3 to spearhead our market launch, and the Isblå product line fits the bill!”

Natural wild salmon oil is rich in healthy long-chain polyunsaturated fats and contains 10 different Omega-3 fatty acids—including an evenly-balanced content of EPA and DHA. The fresh and pure wild salmon oil used in Isblå is the highest quality raw material available in the market for natural Omega-3 and is sustainably certified by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC).

Fam-Trade Company Limited is newly established in Thailand by Teeyarat Kongmanee with the expressed purpose of launching the Norwegian Isblå brand into the Asian market with focus on the health benefits for the brain, eyes, skin, hair, and heart.

ArcticSource1 LLC was established in 2010 by Jan Haakonsen, with focus on sales of marine ingredients from the Arctic region. The company offering includes a full range of Omega-3 products, traditional and innovative fish protein products, collagen, and other specialized ingredients from the sea. The company also markets select finished goods products to the practitioner and health markets in Scandinavia and beyond.
